For designers who want to study and share information about design, Search & Research is a knowledge-based search engine that integrates objective design research information with designers' insights. Unlike commercial search engines, Search & Research is based on academic research needs and delivers only relevant results without the delay and distraction of advertising or useless links.

The project was funded by the Segal Resource Center, Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, IL.
